Welcome back!
The Fall 2020 semester has been a crazy and unpredictable one to say the least. However, in the midst of the global pandemic we have continued to push forward and continue to improve our chapter. *While wearing our masks and social distancing, of course* A huge shoutout goes to Dr. Hurley and the rest of the administration at Tarleton for their continued commitment to keep our university safe, but allowing and trusting us to continue on with our events. A recap on some important highlights from last Spring that were not shared: -Our chapter received recognition for having the highest term (3.38) and overall (3.02) GPA across all fraternities on campus -Historian, Jacob Mesecke, was awarded the first installment of the Daniel Jones Tarleton Delta Chi Endowed Memorial Scholarship Rush week was a success, as we brought in six new Associate Members: Hunter Smith, Management, Austin, TX Randon Grimm, Finance, Justin, TX Hatcher Heavyside, Mechanical Engineering, Lipan, TX Morgan Israel, Ag Business, Arlington, TX Jason Yelvington, Ag Education, Bridgeport, TX Hunter Lucas, Kinesiology, Aledo, TX While events have been altered to meet university guidelines, we have been able to have a lot of fun this semester. We have participated in the Delta Zeta Golf Scramble Philanthropy event, the Duck Launch and Silver Bugle during Spirit/Homecoming Week, as well as various other Brotherhood/Informal Recruitment Events. We are excited to finish out the semester strong, stay tuned for another update next week!
